TL;DR

  • The AI Trainer Starter Kit is a free workbook for your first month of AI training work.
  • It has six worksheets: a 30-day plan, an eligibility log, an application checklist, a story bank, rating practice and a pay calculator.
  • It comes as a browser workspace, an Excel workbook and a 16-page printable PDF.
  • All examples are original and fictional, with no real assessment content.
  • You need about an hour a week to use it.
  • You give a first name and email, and newsletter updates are a separate opt-in.

What’s in the AI trainer starter kit

Each worksheet helps you finish one job.

WorksheetWhat it helps you finish
30-day planA day-by-day first month, from checking eligibility to your first interviews
Platform eligibility log and research linksCountry, language, ID and payout checks for each platform, a fee red-flag column, and links to nine platforms to research (four are partner links, clearly marked)
Application checklist and trackerA complete, truthful application every time, and a log of every test and follow-up
Interview story bank3 to 5 stories from real work, with a filled-in example to copy the shape of
Rating and rationale practiceThree original exercises with worked answers and a five-point self-check
Pay calculatorYour real hourly rate once unpaid time and fees come out

All examples are original and fictional. There is no real assessment content from any platform.

Preview one useful example

Here is a taste of the rating practice. Try it before you read the answer.

Prompt: “At sea level, what is the boiling point of water in Celsius and Fahrenheit?”

  • Response A: Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius, which is 212 degrees Fahrenheit, at sea level.
  • Response B: At sea level, water boils at 100 degrees Celsius, or about 180 degrees Fahrenheit. It boils at a lower temperature at high altitude.

Worked answer: A is better. B gets the Fahrenheit value wrong. Its extra point about altitude is true, but a helpful extra does not make up for a factual error in the main answer. The lesson: check every number before you rate.

The kit has two more exercises like this, one on instruction following and one on tone, each with a full rationale you can compare against your own.

How to use it

You only need about an hour a week. Two to four hours gets you through faster.

Bring

Your resume, a short list of platforms you want to try and the skill you can prove best: a profession, a language or a subject you studied.

Do

Follow the 30-day plan. Each week tells you which worksheet to open next, so you never wonder what to do today.

Finish with

A set of truthful applications, a practice log and interview stories you can tell without notes.

Come back

Open the story bank before any interview and the pay calculator after your first paid project.

Understand scoring

The self-check in the practice sheet scores your rationale, not your chances. A strong practice score shows you explain your thinking clearly. It does not mean a platform will accept you, because every platform makes its own decisions.

Note: Legitimate AI training platforms never ask you to pay to join, train or get work. The eligibility log has a column to flag any that do.

Get the kit

Enter your first name and email. You land on the download page straight away, and we email you a copy of both links so you have them later.

We send the download link here.

We use your email to send the kit. See our Privacy Policy at aitrainersfaq.com/privacy-policy/.

Your email is used to send the kit. Newsletter updates are a separate opt-in, and you can unsubscribe any time. See our Privacy Policy.

Is it really free?

Yes. You give a first name and an email address, and nothing else. There is no payment at any point. Legitimate AI training platforms also never ask you to pay to join, and the eligibility log has a column to flag any that do.

Does it include real assessment questions?

No. Sharing real assessment content would break platform rules, so every example in the kit is original and fictional. The rating practice has three original exercises with worked answers you can compare against your own.

Will I get newsletters?

Only if you tick the optional updates box. Without it, you get the kit email with your download links and nothing more. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time, and our Privacy Policy explains how your email is used.

Should I use the workspace, the Excel file or the PDF?

Use the workspace if you like seeing your progress: it shows your 30-day path, milestones and a live pay calculator, and saves back to Excel. Use the Excel workbook on its own if you prefer spreadsheets, or print the PDF if you like writing by hand. Many people mix them.

Who is it for?

Beginners exploring AI training work, and professionals who want to turn their expertise into evaluation work. If you are brand new, read AI training jobs: the complete beginner guide first.

How much time does the starter kit take?

About an hour a week is enough. Two to four hours a week gets you through faster. The 30-day plan tells you which worksheet to open each week, so you never wonder what to do next.
